This angel is quick one and she wanted to explore (versus model, sadly for me)…curious, clever and so fast, this sweetie kept me on my feet, on the floor and all over the place! She wasn’t too keen on smiling for me this time, but I think I’m wearing her down. Next time I’ll get one from her, and maybe a seated photo too! Hope you love the photos. :)

Being selected as a family’s photographer is a tremendous honor any time, but sharing the wonder of a newborn with a family is extra special and I was grateful for the opportunity to work with this amazing family…. and baby boy was a charmer – so deliciously squishy and perfect. He slept and let me mush him all around. He woke and was fed and loved and drifted back off to sleep again. Just a dream come true. I know there will be a lifetime of happy memories made by this child, and I was thrilled to capture some of the first ones. Hope you love the photos!
I’m inspired to do some lifestyle sessions and would like to propose special pricing on the first 3 lifestyle sessions booked in 2012. An unscripted session will take place in your home for approximately 1.5 hours and will largely involve me photographing you and your family doing your thing…breakfast, playing, coloring, cooking…I will document your real life moments. Special pricing is $125 for the session which will include 3 digital images on CD and 15% off all prints/additional digital images. It’s non-traditional but so beautiful. I’m happy to report that baby boy has arrived safely and I’ll get to meet him on Monday…I’m unhappy to report that I’m this far behind in my blog posts though!

Remember this family? I first met them when I did a maternity session while mom was pregnant with gorgeous son Bryce. I loved working with creative and beautiful mom, fun, relaxed dad and sweet, conscientious big brother Dean (who is also gorgeous) – and this session reminded me how great this family is. The boys were so cute and cooperative – I couldn’t get enough of them. And I love parents who are natural and unconcerned in front of the camera. What a lucky child Angelina is. She’s gorgeous and sweet, well-behaved (and well-dressed) and she has a lovely, dedicated and hard-working beautiful mommy whose deep love for her baby girl was so abundantly evident that it was itself a thing of beauty.
