My neighbors are great…everyone in my town that I have the pleasure to know is great, actually. But I love my neighbors across the street. They are kind, thoughtful (brought us HOMEMADE mince pies!) and fun and their son is just breathtakingly handsome. I was thrilled to get this little guy in front of my camera – he is definitely a natural and I suspect will be a bit of a heart-breaker in not-too-many years to come. Speaking of which, I better keep my eye on my Claire! :) Hope you love the photos.

Abigail is a charmer. Great smile, beautiful eyes, and a warm, bubbly personality. Despite the challenges she’s faced since being diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia this is a child who brings light and joy into the world. I’m so grateful I got to meet her via Inspiration Through Art (check out the site, it’s an amazing cause). I wish her complete and endless remission and peace for her wonderful family. Hope you love the photos.

The terrible downpour couldn’t put a damper on the fun during the Simple Session event two weekends ago – all children were present, accounted for and downright charming. It was a really good day. Thanks for coming out, even in the dismal weather!

In an uncharacteristic attempt to broaden my photographic horizons, I decided to tread carefully into the world of studio last weekend. It went much better than I expected and I learned a lot. I’m really looking forward to more studio sessions in the future.
