I love these two! What cuties and so full of personality and fun. I’m excited to have the chance to watch them grow up. I got some sweet smiles and no tears at all. It was such a fun day. My neighbors are great…everyone in my town that I have the pleasure to know is great, actually. But I love my neighbors across the street. They are kind, thoughtful (brought us HOMEMADE mince pies!) and fun and their son is just breathtakingly handsome. I was thrilled to get this little guy in front of my camera – he is definitely a natural and I suspect will be a bit of a heart-breaker in not-too-many years to come. This angel is quick one and she wanted to explore (versus model, sadly for me)…curious, clever and so fast, this sweetie kept me on my feet, on the floor and all over the place! Remember this family? I first met them when I did a maternity session while mom was pregnant with gorgeous son Bryce. I loved working with creative and beautiful mom, fun, relaxed dad and sweet, conscientious big brother Dean (who is also gorgeous) – and this session reminded me how great this family is. The boys were so cute and cooperative – I couldn’t get enough of them. And I love parents who are natural and unconcerned in front of the camera. What a lucky child Angelina is. She’s gorgeous and sweet, well-behaved (and well-dressed) and she has a lovely, dedicated and hard-working beautiful mommy whose deep love for her baby girl was so abundantly evident that it was itself a thing of beauty. What a perfect setting for this inquisitive and fearless yet angelic little one…her beauty and innocence were accentuated by the verdant gardens all around. Perhaps the fountain was a bit too tempting – her pretty pink dress got soaked – but the smiles and fun were worth it. I loved spending time with this family – exactly one year after our last session together and right before they welcome another sure-to-be stunning baby next month. What a lovely time. Wishing you all a safe arrival for baby #2!
My town is full of the loveliest people and this family is no exception. In fact, I’m starting to think families with three children have some sort of magic power (note to self/hubs: maybe another child would be ok!). These three were so well-behaved, cooperative, creative (oldest son was locating amazing spots for unique photos), sweet and helpful. They also seemed to genuinely like and respect one another which was so beautiful to see. I’m sure not every moment is picture perfect, but on this day every moment was. Hope you love the photos!
The October mini sessions were perfect. We had a simply gorgeous day and some of the most well-behaved, cooperative and beautifully dressed children ever. There were many highlights and it was lots of fun, but my happiest moment was capturing a smile and eye contact from each of three siblings at the same time (score!!!). Magic. Below you can see some of the models I met that day…such amazing children. Oh, and parents: it did not go unnoticed that a number of you were willing to sacrifice your dignity for the sake of a smile. You were all pretty awesome too. Thanks.
Abigail is a charmer. Great smile, beautiful eyes, and a warm, bubbly personality. Despite the challenges she’s faced since being diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia this is a child who brings light and joy into the world. I’m so grateful I got to meet her via Inspiration Through Art (check out the site, it’s an amazing cause). I wish her complete and endless remission and peace for her wonderful family.
